TouchDown in Tokyo

So, Michael has already been in Japan for a week. He arrived last Monday, August 18 and promptly went to work getting our apartment, bank accounts, and all sorts of other housekeeping items in order. Our apartment is pretty empty, so he's just camping out there for the time being. A portion of our stuff arrived on Saturday, so at least he now has some more clothes.

In his free time, Michael has been exploring Tokyo. It will not be surprising to you that one of his first stops was Akihabara, the electronics district.

He also hit a few shrines to take pictures. He really got some great ones (click here to see the whole album). My favorites are of the little prayer plaques. We are already brainstorming great prayers we can leave there in the future.
