It is finally here - the cherry blossoms have opened. It has been a painfully slow process - my theory is that the slow start can be chalked up to last week being really cold. The blossoms are not open on all the trees yet, so I am hoping we will have another week or two of flowers. Luckily, Jenny and Conrad (our latest visitors) got a chance to see some sakura before they left today.
