Sakura, Part 2

Sakura is a big deal.  Once the cherry blossoms come out, people flock to the parks to admire their beauty, take pictures and sit beneath them.   While Michael gets our sakura pictures together, here are some pictures of early sakura that my parents took on their trip.  They attracted all sorts of photographers, from "prosumers" with fancy cameras to people using their cell phones to take pictures.

This girl came out to pose by the sakura for pictures.  Mom is convinced she wants to be discovered.  Notice that she dressed to match the blossoms.

It's really no use getting all dolled up if you aren't going to match the scenery!

I love the dress :) The cherry blossoms are so beautiful and I can't wait to see more of your pictures! The one frustrating thing though is that they are so fragile and are gone so quickly. But what a wonderful way to welcome in spring!
