Back in Bangkok, we checked out cousin Yod's new restaurant venture, Barley. (Check them out on Facebook!) They have a great space including a swanky roof deck - definitely worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood. The food includes fusion dishes like Thai curry penne and spaghetti with kim-chi.
In addition to our normal t-shirt and silk scarf shopping, we took a jaunt to the fresh market to get supplies for the annual New Year's Eve party at Grandma's.
Mmmmmm.
And here we have it - the annual family picture. The fam is getting big (and this isn't even everyone)!
As usual, the party was a great way to usher in 2010 - although I don't think very many of us actually stayed awake for the stroke of midnight!
