Happy Japanniversary to Me!

That's right - As of today, I've lived in Japan for one year.

Looking back, adjusting to living in Japan was so much easier than we expected. Learning the Japanese language, on the other hand, has been so much harder.

We debated and debated whether or not to bring Nola over, and in the end she is the world's happiest cat here in Japan (having heated floors doesn't hurt!).


Having one year under our belts provides us with certain comfort, but it is also giving us a push to get out and see Japan. We will most likely leave Japan in another year, so we only have one more Fall to hike, one more Winter to ski, one more cherry blossom season to enjoy.
