We got into Kyoto mid afternoon to cold rainy weather. After lunch and finding our way to the bed and breakfast, mom and I decided to explore town despite the rain. We ended up in a crab restaurant for dinner. (Can I just say how much I love crab??)

After dinner we grabbed a coffee and encountered what Mama calls a "cultural hub" - two Japanese guys playing jazz in Starbucks.
